Less than 24hrs after it was announced that Aintree Villa were unable to host its pre-season friendly with the Chesh on Wednesday 25th July, the crisis has been resolved.

After discussions the fixture has been reversed and will now take place at the Chesh, with the 6:30pm kick off time remaining.

The club were keen to save the fixture, as they continue to search for new faces to add to the squad that so narrowly missed out on promotion last season.
